Posted January 14, 2018 07:19:52Stiletto is a startup that creates shoes that can be worn without an attached bracelet.
They sell in more than 300 countries, and have raised $12.5 million from backers.
They recently started selling in the United States.
The company says it will make the shoes available for $20 to $25 in the first quarter of 2019, and then to $20, $25 and $40 in 2020.
“Our goal is to make Stilettos affordable and widely available to everyone,” says founder Josh C. Stiles.
“We want to make a shoe that will change the way people live.”
The company was founded in 2009 by Stiles and his partner, Dan Zampese, both of whom are former Microsoft engineers.
They decided to create a platform for startups to raise money and build products without going through traditional channels.
The company is using crowdsourcing to raise funds, and they’re using their platform to get their shoes in the hands of people.
C.B. Thomas, Stiles’ former boss, said Stiles was inspired by the crowdsourcing movement to build a product that people would actually wear.
He hopes Stiletti will help people create their own Stiles shoes.
“You’re not just trying to make some cheap shoes for a few hundred dollars,” he said.
“We’re trying to build something that’s going to change the world,” he added.
Stilettoes first product is the Stiletta shoe, which is a low-profile, low-cost, low pressure shoe that uses a silicone strap to secure the shoes in place.
The strap is attached to a cushion of elastic that wraps around the foot, like a sock.
The shoe has a built-in sensor that detects pressure, and a remote control app tells you when your feet are comfortable.
The Stileti also includes a battery-powered watch strap, a strap for an electronic watch, a leather strap and a pouch that holds a smartphone.
Stiletas own brand is called Stilesto and they are selling in limited quantities, but they are also working with retailers to bring the Stiles to stores.
